Android Tile App 2.90
If you are setting up your Tile account for the first time, you need to set location permissions to “allow all the time”.
Android 12
Android 12 provides a new feature that allows you to choose between precise and approximate location information.
Tile app needs to run all the time
This setting allows the app to continuously update your Tile’s location, keeping its Location History accurate.
Tile app needs “precise” location
This setting allows the app to more accurately find your Tile. If you select “approximate”, the app will not be as precise in displaying your Tile’s location. For example, if you choose “precise”, the app will show the street address of the Tile’s location; if you choose “approximate”, it will show you the location within a larger mile radius.
