We understand how your child’s health and safety could be a concern when using Tile.
We acknowledge that health may be a concern when considering a Tile is in the pocket of a child’s (or anyone’s) jacket. The National Institute of Health has formally studied the health effects of Bluetooth technology on people. We ourselves, however, have not conducted any studies.
Outside of 100 feet, your Tile does not provide live-tracking updates as a GPS device does. Tile can keep track of moving objects, but your child’s safety is top of mind.
For this reason, Tile is not recommended for keeping track of children or people, but is best utilized to locate objects like a child’s jacket.
