If you have received a Bad Syntax error when logging into the app, the time on your iOS device may not be set to automatically sync. To resolve this issue, you can update your date & time settings by:
On your iOS device,
• Go to Settings > General > Date & Time
• Make sure "Set automatically" is enabled.
Once time has been set to automatic, you may need to restart your device.
