Once you’re logged into your Tile account and synced with your Apple Watch, you can use your watch to do anything your iPhone or iPad can do!
Your Apple watch acts as an extension of your phone, so your Tile is still connected via the Bluetooth from your phone. With this in mind, you’ll want to make sure your watch is within 30-100ft of your phone, and your phone is within Bluetooth range of your Tile.
Similar to how you use the Tile app on your iPhone, you will be able to do the following on the Apple Watch:
- Ring a connected Tile
- View the connection status of your owned and shared Tiles
- Use the proximity sensor feature to get closer to and ring a connected Tile
- View the last seen time and location of an out of range Tile on the map
- Enable “Notify When Found” to enlist the power of the Tile community
For even faster access to your Tiles, add the Tile app to your Apple Watch's Dock as seen here!
Note: At this time, unlike the iPhone/iPad version of the Tile app, digital phone Tiles (which help you find your phone or tablet) will not appear in the Apple Watch list of Tiles. Only Tile devices can be found using the Apple Watch app.
