Jiobit has the same internal components as a cellphone and is TSA-approved. As with any electronic device, the Jiobit should be carefully removed from your loved one and placed into your bin for TSA screening

Like any flight, be sure to enable Airplane Mode on your smartphone in order to turn off the cellular modem in the Jiobit. While in-flight and without a cell signal, the app will not be able to track the Jiobit’s location. 

Once you’ve landed, turn Bluetooth back on in your phone settings and allow the Jiobit to connect to a cellular signal. Please note that Jiobit will not update its location while in flight.
