From time to time, Jiobit, will upgrade the Jiobit firmware and push out updates to the App. This is to add new features and fix software issues. Jiobit updates happen automatically over-the-air or with the use of Home WiFi Connect enabled. This also only occurs when the device is being charged, so the battery is not drained while in use. Push notifications are issued in the app when the update begins and completes.
App updates happen based on your phone settings. You can configure apps on your phone to be automatically updated through your App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) settings. When a new app release is made available, we will message you via email and Jiobit Messenger, letting you know about the new version and the new features.
