Add the Tile app to your Apple Watch
Once you have the app downloaded and running on your iPhone or iPad, it should automatically sync with your Apple Watch.
Once you’re logged into your Tile account and synced with your Apple Watch, you can use your watch to do anything your iPhone or iPad can do.
How Tile works with your Apple Watch
Your Apple watch acts as an extension of your phone, so your Tile is still connected via the Bluetooth from your phone. With this in mind, you’ll want to make sure your watch is within 33 feet of your phone, and your phone is within Bluetooth range of your Tile.
Similar to how you use the Tile app on your iPhone, you will be able to do the following on the Apple Watch:
- Ring a connected Tile.
- View the connection status of your owned and shared Tiles.
- Use the Tile Detector to get closer to and ring a connected Tile.
- View the last seen time and location of an out of range Tile on the map.
- Enable “Notify When Found” to enlist the power of the Tile network.
Note: Your Apple Watch will show only your actual Tiles. It will not show your smartphone or tablet as one of the Tiles.
