If you are missing your Tiled item, your Tile's location history helps you retrace your steps. As a Tile Premium or Premium Protect subscriber, you can retrace your Tile’s location from the last 30 days.
View your Tile's location history
- In the Tile app, select the Tile for which you want to view the location history.
- Scroll down to and select Location History.
- A map and list of location updates from the last 30 days appears.
Get directions to a location listed in your location history
- Tap the location you want to get directions to.
- Tap the arrow at the top right corner of the screen.
Number of days of location history
Once you sign up for Premium or Premium Protect, you will see all the location updates for the length of time you have had your Tile activated up to 30 days. If you are not a Premium or Premium Protect subscriber, your Tile app will display your Tile's last location update.
Share your Tile’s 30-day location history
If you are a Premium or Premium Protect subscriber, you are the only one who can see your Tile's 30-day location history. If you share your Tile with someone, that person will only be able to see your Tile’s last location update.
If your Tile’s location history is missing some locations
The Tile app can only record locations when your Tile is within Bluetooth range of your device or within range of another Tile user’s device.
For iOS devices, the Tile app needs to be running in the background to record locations. If your Tile app is running in the background but is not recording locations, contact us so we can assist you.
Disabling the Location History feature while keeping other Premium or Premium Protect features
This option isn’t currently available, but we’re working on it. It will be available soon.
