The Ring Your Phone feature in the Life360 app allows you to ring your phone by double-pressing the button on your Tile. To use this feature in the Life360 app:
- You must have an activated Tile device linked to your Life360 account.
- The Press Action of the Tile must be set to Ring my phone.
- If the Press Action is disabled or set to Discreet SOS Alert (2024 models only), the Ring Your Phone feature will not work.
- Your phone must be within Bluetooth range of your Tile to be found.
To enable Ring Your Phone for your Circle:
- Tap on the Keys icon under the map.
- Tap on the Tiled item you want to ring your phone.
- Tap on Change next to the Tile you want to ring your phone.
- Select Ring my phone as the Press Action.
Note: If you disable Ring My Phone through the Life360 app, it will not be disabled on the Tile app. To disable it on the Tile app, refer to Disable Find My Phone for Tile.
To ring your phone with your Tile:
- Rapidly double-press the button on your Tile.
- Listen for your phone to ring.
- It will ring even if it is in silent mode.
Note: If you have both the Life360 app and Tile app, either app can trigger your phone to ring. The notification you receive will indicate which app was used.
To stop the ring:
- Tap on the notification.
- (Android only) Tap on Found it.
You can also:
- Press the phone’s power button.
- Press the phone’s volume up or down button.
- Open the Life360 app.
Ring Your Phone Not Working
If Ring Your Phone is working on the Tile app but not in the Life360 app:
- Check that your Life360 app is on the latest app version, if available.
- Refresh the Life360 app.
If Ring Your Phone is not working on both the Tile app and Life360 app, troubleshoot your Tile.
