You can change your Tile's name, photo, or category.
Before completing the steps below, make sure you have the latest version of the Tile app.
To change the name
For iOS
- Tap the Tile you wish to edit.
- Scroll down to and select More Options.
- Tap Name.
- Tap on X to delete the current name.
- Enter the new name.
- Tap Save.
For Android
- Tap the Tile you wish to edit.
- Scroll down to and select More Options.
- Tap the current Tile Name.
- On your phone’s keyboard, Tap the Delete button to remove the current Tile name.
- Enter the new name.
- Tap the Left Arrow on the top left corner to save the changes.
Note: A name can only be used once. If a Tile is named “Keys,” you will not be able to name another Tile “Keys.” The system will automatically add a number extension, ex “Keys(1)”.
To change the photo
- Tap the Tile you wish to edit.
- Scroll down to and select More Options.
- Tap Change Photo.
- If you have Item Reimbursement, the app displays the message that changing the photo will change your Item Reimbursement registration photo. If you decide to keep the photo, select Keep Photo. No further steps are needed.
- If you wish to proceed with the change, select Change Photo.
- Follow the prompts.
- Tap the Left Arrow on the top left corner to save the changes.
To change the category
- Tap the Tile you wish to edit.
- Scroll down to and select More Options.
- Tap Category.
- If you have Item Reimbursement, the app displays the message that changing the category will change your Item Reimbursement registration details. If you decide to keep the category, select Keep Category. No further steps are needed.
- If you wish to proceed with the change, select Change Category.
- Select the New Category.
- Tap the Left Arrow on the top left corner to save the changes.
