Unlike your cell phone, the Jiobit’s cell modem is fully powered off for a majority of the time. When in active use, Jiobit devices use an extremely low power mode to transmit small bursts of data. As verified by the FCC, this allows the device to emit about the same amount of radiation as a Bluetooth headset— and much less radiation than a cell phone.
