Encryption protects the confidentiality of digital data that is stored on computer systems or transmitted through a network like the internet. Any data communication performed by Jiobit is always fully encrypted from our smartphone apps or the Jiobit device.

More specifically, Jiobit encrypts all data passed to and from our cloud infrastructure and uses TLS 1.2 with encryption to establish connections. This process is similar to HTTPS on your web browser— a secure way to send data between a server and a web browser. 

Jiobit also encrypts all data stored on our servers. This means that it can only be decrypted by your personal authentication (login credentials) or by a small number of authorized customer support employees should you need help with your device.
