Tile has tunes that signal Tile actions.
Click on the tune to hear it.
This tune plays when the Tile button is pressed to start the activation process.
Only on an unactivated Tile: If the Tile button is pressed once and there is no sound it could mean a dead battery.
The app will detect and activate the Tile after the Tile button is pressed once. The activation is successful when the app screen shows “Tile Activated” and then plays this tune.
This tune plays if the Tile button is pressed too many times during the activation process.
This tune plays when the Tile is not detected by the app. The Tile did not activate and goes back to sleep (timed out). No Tile button press is required for this tune to play.
Find Your Phone (FYP) “Heartbeat” Tune
After double-pressing the Tile button, this tune plays when the Tile app is attempting to connect with your phone. This can be heard if the Tile app is not running on the phone and the Tile is trying to connect.
Find Your Phone (FYP) “Success” Tune
After double-pressing the Tile button, this tune plays if the connection to the phone is successful.
Note: If Find Your Phone is disabled in the Tile Details screen on the app, the Tile will still play this tune but the phone will not display any notification and no sound will play.
Find Your Phone (FYP) “Failure” Tune
This tune plays when the Tile is unable to communicate with the app to ring the phone. The Tile must be in Bluetooth range of the phone for this feature to work.
