Find My Phone with a Tile device

1. On the Tile, double-press the Tile button.
2. Listen for your phone to ring; it will ring even in silent mode. 
3. To stop the ring:
   1. Android: Tap the notification, then tap Found it.
   2. iOS: Unlock your mobile device.
      1. If unlocked, tap the notification. 

Additional ways to stop the ring

Android and iOS

• Press the device’s power button. Hit the power button.
• Press the device’s volume up or down button.
• Launch the Tile app. 

Note: 

• You must have an activated Tile device on your account. This feature will not work with  Tile Lost and Found Labels.
• Make sure your phone is within Bluetooth range of your Tile.
• (iOS only) Make sure that the Tile app is running in the background.

Find My Phone with another mobile device 

The Tile app must be installed on both devices. 

Note: The device you want to locate must be logged in using the same Tile Account or shared with you. If the device you want to locate is within range, it will connect within 2 minutes. 

1. In the Tile app, tap the device you want to locate.
2. Tap on Find. 
3. To stop the ring:
   1. Android: Tap the notification, then tap Found it.
   2. iOS: Unlock your mobile device.
      1. If unlocked, tap the notification. 

Unable to Find My Phone with Tile

“Pause App Activity if Unused” (For Android)

The “Pause App Activity if Unused” defaults to toggled On. If you don’t use the Tile app for 90 days, it will go into hibernation, and all its features and functions will not work. 

To disable: 

1. Go to Settings. 
2. Tap on Apps. 
3. Scroll down and tap on the Tile app.
4. Tap on Permissions.
5. Toggle “Pause app activity if unused” to Off.

Note: Battery set to unrestricted does not have any effect.
