For Tiles with a replaceable battery, the battery will work up to a year. You can replace the battery yourself with a compatible coin cell battery. 

For Tiles with a non-replaceable battery, you cannot access or change the battery. 

Why some Tiles have non-replaceable batteries

Non-replaceable batteries provide a sealed design that gives Tiles like Sticker and Slim longer battery life.

Activate your Tile immediately

We recommend activating your Tiles as soon as you receive them to get their maximum benefits. If a Tile has not been activated in over a year, we cannot guarantee that the battery will last up to its expected lifespan.

If your Tile's battery dies early

If your Tile’s battery dies before the battery lifespan for your model, contact our Customer Care Team.
