To provide you with the information you need—when you need it—the app explicitly requests access to things like your phone’s camera, contacts, and location. We do this for a few reasons: 

1. Location access is strongly recommended for the sake of tracking accuracy 
2. Allowing notifications is strongly recommended to receive Trusted Place alerts and to be notified when the Alert Button is activated
3. Camera access is optional, but useful for adding profile photos and ID images for SOS mode 
4. Contact access is optional, but useful for seamlessly adding Care Team members
