How Tile works with Dell Pens

Your Pen is Tile-enabled. Once activated, it works like a Tile would:

• Ring the pen (up to 30 feet)
• Find the pen with the Tile Detector
• View the pen’s last known location on a map
• Enlist the power of the Tile Network

Activate Dell Pen

If you don't have a Tile account, create an account using your email address

1. Download the latest version of the Tile app on your compatible mobile device.
2. Open the app and tap Get Started.
3. Under Activate a Tile Enabled Device, select Dell.
4. Select Pen Model.
5. Tap Next.
6. In the Sign Up screen, enter a valid email address to use with your account. You'll use this to log into the app moving forward.
7. Create a password. Passwords are case-sensitive and must include one letter, one number, and be at least 8 characters long.
8. Tap Sign Up.
9. You'll receive a 6-digit confirmation code in the email address you provided. When the app prompts for it, enter the code to verify your email address.
10. Follow the on-screen activation instructions.

If you have a Tile account, complete the following steps

1. On the home screen of the Tile app, tap the + sign at the upper left corner of the screen.
2. Under Activate a Tile Enabled Device, select Dell.
3. Select Pen Model.
4. Follow the on-screen activation instructions.

After successful activation, the Tile app shows the Pen as a Tile.

Important: Check the permission settings on your mobile device to allow Tile finding features to work correctly.

Ring the Pen

From the home screen of the Tile app, ring the Pen by tapping the Find button.

You can ring the Pen if it is:

• Within Bluetooth range of up to 65 feet
• Charged (does not have to be fully charged)
